Sample master, Uppermost, dropped his latest album today, titled Control, for the grand total price of absolutely nothing. He’s another incredibly talented producer who’s proving to the world that by being REALLY good at making music, and releasing that music for free, you can become very widely known.
Control is a sample album. So each track is made from a bunch of samples. I think one of the many stand out parts about this album is that the samples are from songs that younger generations would consider modern classics. The track below, Flow contains samples from Justice - DANCE, Michael Jackson – Somebody’s Watching Me, and Daft Punk - Something About Us.
The rest of the tracks on the album range from french electro, to electro funk, to future soul, to this, and to that. It’s literally all over the place and while it’s all over the place, it’s hitting each place just perfectly. Does that even make sense? Below is the album sampler and the download link.
